Responsibilities & Role
- Maintains continuous visual observation of assigned patient at all times on a monitor. Verbally redirects the patient over a digital 2-way audio device
- Participates in the collaborative identification and reporting of patient safety issues and assures patient environment safety. Immediately follows the departmental protocol/guidelines and seeks assistance from the clinical team when patient appears
- Participates in hand-off of pertinent assigned patient information/behavior at the beginning and upon completion of a shift. Consistently communicates
